Making Audio-Only Files with DVDFab

(Requires Mobile Option)

Features introduced in DVDFab v5.0.8.0 make it possible to produce AC-3/MP3/WMA/DTS (and other) audio files from a DVD in a few simple steps, all from within DVDFab. Follow the instructions below.

  1. Insert the Source DVD and select DVD to Mobile->Generic (MP3,MP4,AC-3,WAV, DTS) iPod (m4a, MP3) or ZUNE (WMA) depending on the type of audio file you want to create. Select the Title and audio stream you wish to convert, select or create a Target folder, then click Next.
  2. Click the Conversion Settings button. In the upper right, click the Audio Only radio button. Select the profile for the audio format desired from the right-hand drop down selector. To create individual audio files, select Split by Chapter.
  3. Make the desired settings or entries for Title, bitrate and Volume. Click OK.
  4. Review the Task list and click Start. The audio file(s) will be written to the folder you selected in the first step. See the screen capture below for control locations.
